Porcupine Mountains Wilderness State Park, Michigan
The sun rises over the small historic Copper mining towns of Houghton and Hancock, Michigan one the Keweenaw Peninsula and the lift bridge over the Portage Waterway that connects the two towns. It is the widest and heaviest lift bridge in the world. The historic Quincy Mine shaft house is seen on the hill on the right; part of the Keweenaw National Historic Park.
